Ingredients

  • 400 g tomatoes (tin)
  • 500 g Beef Mince
  • 400 g kidney beans (tin) 240g when drained
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup Rice
  • Chilli con carne seasoning mix 29p in ALDI

Instructions

  • Add tinned tomatoes, beef mince, seasoning mix and half a tin of water into the slow cooker
  • Cook on low for 6 hours. Add the rice, kidney beans and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook on low for another hour.
  • Add more water if the dish looks dry and the rice is not cooking. Serve when rice is cooked.
